What are your qualifications?

I have a M.S. in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Portland State University. I am a registered Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Oregon. Emily Berry, MS, LPC is my clincial supervisor. I have also worked in the non-profit behavioral health field for the last eight years, in various roles.

Are our sessions confidential?

Yes, although there are a small number of situations in which the law would require me to report confidential information. We will review all of these before we begin. Read more.

Do I have to be in Portland to work with you?

No, although you must be in the borders of the State of Oregon during our sessions. I’d love to work with clients from outside of the Portland metro area! Read more.

What do you charge? Do you take insurance?

I charge $120 an hour for sessions. I offer a 15% discount to clients who see me more than once a week. I have a limited number of spots for clients who can’t afford my full rate. I am not currently set up to take insurance. Read more.

Are you that guy from that band?

It depends. If you’re thinking of an obscure Portland band, the answer is probably yes— though there are a lot of people walking around who’ve stolen my look. If it’s a famous band, then definitely no. you should look at my other website: tedbryan.com
